Helena Liedtke
FOUNDER/PRESIDENT
Helena Liedtke received her M.Ed in Community Engagement from Merrimack College, Winston School of Education & Social Policy. She is a dedicated community leader and co-founder of Space2Thrive committed to breaking down social and physical barriers. In 2024 Helena was instrumental in establishing the 2nd Volt Hockey adaptive team sport program in the US.
As a communications fellow through Merrimack College’s Community Engagement program, Helena worked with Neighbors In Need (NIN), a food pantry and diaper bank in Lawrence, MA; she currently continues to support NIN’s mission in development. Within the scope of the Allen C. Crocker Fellowship at UMass Boston/Institute for Community Inclusion, she developed guidelines for creating inclusive play spaces. She further has a background in architecture and project management.
Helena has a long history of sitting on non-profit boards and committees. Her daughter’s Spinal Muscular Atrophy diagnosis led to Helena serving on the MA Early Intervention Coordinating Council for many years, first as a parent representative and then as co-chair, advising and assisting the Department of Public Health on matters of Early Intervention.
Helena's journey began with a simple belief: that EVERY person deserves to BELONG, to be HEARD, and to be LOVED!
Helge Liedtke
CO-FOUNDER/TREASURER/VICE PRESIDENT
Helge has focused his 30 year career on providing high-level services for consumer and commercial deposit and lending relationships, including small and medium-sized businesses. Helge holds a Master of Business Administration from University of Massachusetts/Dartmouth and from Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany.
He is co-founder of Space2Thrive Inc, and its adaptive sports program, which he also supports by coaching the volt hockey team The Rolling Warriors.
Helge is also a consultant to the Veterans Business Outreach Center of NE, Center for Women & Enterprise, and an Incorporator to a local YMCA. In 2021, Helge graduated from a leadership program at the New England School for Financial Studies and volunteers as a Member of the Town of Millville's Finance Committee and Capital Planning Committee. Helge further supports youth sports by co-coaching youth soccer in Franklin, MA.
Aneta Dodson
SECRETARY/ACCOUNTING DIRECTOR
Aneta is a Certified Public Accountant with over 20 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting in the commercial real estate industry. She is the Chief Accounting Officer at The Davis Companies, a Boston area firm widely recognized for its community engagement and charitable support of multiple non-profits and foundations including Boys and Girls Club of Boston, United Way of Massachusetts, and Heading Home, to name a few. While at Davis she has volunteered in numerous initiatives focused on fundraising campaigns, food drives, and events addressing homelessness. She was recruited to join the Board of Directors of Space2Thrive to exemplify her commitment to creating a more inclusive and supportive world for all children.
Aneta holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from Bentley University and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Banking from Warsaw School of Economics. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking, biking, and kayaking.
William Hughes
ASSISTANT TREASURER/DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY RELATIONS & OUTREACH
Bill Hughes is a burgeoning financial professional with a passion for maximizing the utility of money to aid with long-term goals. He is committed to being a positive impact in his local communities in any way he can. His professional expertise with asset management, budgeting, and financial planning can help Space2Thrive best take advantage of their fundraising opportunities to aid in their mission.
Katerina Lubonja
DIRECTOR
Katerina spends most of her time with Bluestone Wealth & Trust where she assists clients navigate and achieve investment goals and financial success. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with Minor in Management from Bridgewater State University.
Katerina lives in Bridgewater and enjoys outdoor activities, music and traveling.
Jennifer Russo
DIRECTOR OF PUBLICITY AND COMMUNICATIONS
Jennifer Russo has served on several diversity and education committees and strives to amplify awareness and promote opportunities for pursuing accessibility and inclusion. Passionate about DEIB initiatives and community engagement, she applies her professional experience in communications, social media, design, marketing, and philanthropic program development to help drive the mission of Space2Thrive forward.
Jenn holds a Master’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Lasell University. In her free time, she enjoys singing with the Greater Milford Community Chorus, traveling, fitness, writing, photography, and spending time with her husband and son.

Viola Bramel
Viola has been serving the public for many years as a Ranger for the U.S Army Corps of Engineers. She has an invaluable and kind way to engage people, never forgets a name, and has a gift to see the good and do good - a choice she makes every single day wholeheartedly. Viola has extensive experience in event planning, volunteer management, grant writing and fundraising and is instrumental to planning our annual 5K Run&Stroll fundraiser.
Kim Damato
Kim is an experienced sales professional who has dedicated 30 years of her career to selling medical equipment for her family's company, Rehabilitation Equipment Associates. In her free time, Kim is determined to making a positive difference for individuals with disabilities and supports our program by adapting volt hockey chairs to players’ individual needs keeping them safe, and helps with equipment maintenance and acquisition.
Craig Kinnane
Craig is a dedicated father who enjoys assisting in coaching and loves watching Ellary play, seeing the joy it brings her.
Alongside him is his supportive wife Cindy and their younger daughter, Rylan who attend games offering encouragement and helping whenever needed.
Catherine Reyes
Catherine, Founder at Artisan Bridge, has been engaged in community work her entire life. She has organized charitable runs and events for many years to raise funds in support of underserved populations living in poverty in Guatemala, and many other causes with speak to her heart. She employs and empowers woman in Guatemala and is selling their art at local crafts and artisan markets.

Christian Caruso
Christian is a 7th grade student at Weston Middle School. Christian enjoys participating in school productions, robotics club, and playing the trumpet in the band and jazz band.
Christian's favorite subjects include math, reading, and art. Christian has many interests but his greatest are music and video games.
Finding Volt Hockey tapped a new side of him, it has given him a team, sense of community, belonging, and competition.
Ellary Kinnane
Ellary Kinnane is 17 years old and a junior in high school. She is a member of the Rolling Warriors Volt Hockey team in North Attleboro and enjoys singing, playing the violin, listening to music, and hanging out with family and friends. She also created a documentary to spread awareness about the North Attleboro Volt Hockey team and Volt Hockey in general, which was submitted to the STN film excellence contest. Outside of Volt Hockey, she is a Youth Ambassador for A Foundation Building Strength, which raises money and awareness for Nemaline Myopathy, the condition that she has, in hopes of finding treatment or a cure.
Vivienne Liedtke
Vivienne is a high school sophomore with SMA, co-coach and player on the Rolling Warriors Volt Hockey team. She collaborates with the Boston coaching team to develop training plans and organize scrimmages and co-leads international Volt Hockey meet-and-chat sessions. Volt Hockey has given her a strong sense of community, leadership opportunities, and a place to push boundaries.
Beyond hockey, Vivienne enjoys reading, acting, writing, art, and participates in adaptive skiing and waterskiing. Vivienne enjoys & studies biotechnology at her vocation school and wishes to become a neuroscientist.
Maddie Manning
Maddie is a twelve year old girl in 6th grade at Parker Middle School.
She has fun playing Volt hockey because it allows her to be part of a real team, and she has a need for speed!
Outside of Volt hockey, Maddie loves to act, sing, listen to music, draw, and hang out with friends, especially her bestie French Fry, her service dog.
